Samsung released the Galaxy Watch Active 2 six months after the Galaxy Watch Active. And this watch introduced many useful features which its predecessor lacked and which later moved to the Galaxy Watch 3 such as ECG and blood pressure monitoring. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 retains a simple design and has a digital rotating bezel. It is as comfortable and durable as the Galaxy Watch Active. The smartwatch comes in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm. A larger size brings a larger display. The 40mm variant has a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display, while the 44m variant has a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display. Battery capacity has also been improved. The larger variant has a 340mAh battery that promises up to 60 hours of use on a single charge, while the smaller variant has a 247mAh battery and promises up to 43 hours of use.
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is available either in aluminum or stainless steel. Aluminum models feature Bluetooth connectivity, while stainless steel models additionally offer LTE connectivity. LTE variants have 1.5GB of RAM instead of basic 768MB of RAM. Aluminum models are available in four stylish colors: Rose Gold, Aqua Black, Cloud Silver, and Pink Gold.
