The third quarter of 2020 turned out to be very successful for Samsung. The company surpassed Apple in the US in terms of smartphone sales and also became the leader in the Indian smartphone market. Another achievement was not long in coming. Five Samsung devices made it into the top ten best-selling smartphones in the world.
According to Canalys, the best-selling Samsung's smartphone in the third quarter of this year was the Galaxy A21s, ranking third in terms of sales worldwide. More than 10 million units of the Galaxy A21s have been sold in total. The Galaxy A11 was ranked fourth, with 10 million units sold, the Galaxy A51 was fifth, with 8 million units sold, the Galaxy A31 was eighth, with 5 million units sold, and the Galaxy A01 Core was tenth, with 4 million units sold.
The iPhone 11 and the iPhone SE 2020 became the two best-selling smartphones in the world in Q3 2020, with 16 million and 10 million units sold, respectively. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series and the Redmi 9 were ranked sixth and seventh, with 6 million and 5 million units sold, respectively. The Redmi 9A was ranked ninth, with about 5 million units sold.
