With the release of the One UI 4.0 beta upgrade for the Galaxy S21 series a few weeks ago, Samsung completed the beta program and is close to release a stable version.
The official moderator of the Samsung Forum says that the company is preparing to open a beta version of One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 + and Galaxy S20 Ultra. It was said that One UI 3.1 with a firmware version ending in EUI4. It would the last software update based on the Android 11 operating system and is possible that Samsung can soon begin beta-testers for the One UI 4.0 beta upgrade for the Galaxy S20 series. The company is planning to open a beta program before the end of November 2021. Beta upgrades will be available in some markets, such as: China, Germany, India, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
So, One UI 4.0 contains many new features, such as an updated user interface design with updated icons and color themes based on Material You. It also features improved standard applications, more lock screen widgets, a new widget design, an updated widget menu, special quick switch switches to disable camera and microphone access, and improved security and confidentiality.
