Will the Galaxy S21 Ultra have a quad or penta camera?

The Galaxy S21 series is expected to be officially unveiled in January 2021. The renders of the Galaxy S21 and the Galaxy S21 Ultra have already appeared. According to the first set of renders of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the new smartphone will have a quad-camera setup. However, the renders were later updated, and it turned out that the Galaxy S21 Ultra could have a penta-camera setup. New images of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra cases only added to the confusion. So, the question is: what camera setup will the Galaxy S21 Ultra have at the rear?

These images show that the Galaxy S21 Ultra has four cameras and an LED flash at the rear. It's possible that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will only have four rear cameras and a sensor. A quad-camera setup could have a wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide lens, and two telephoto lenses. Also, you can now find images of the Galaxy S21's jelly case and a third-party folio case on the internet. These cases have a much thinner rear camera cutout indicating a triple-camera setup. The Galaxy S21's LED flash could be placed outside the glass-covered camera bump.

According to rumors, Samsung has already started part production for the Galaxy S21 series, and the official LED cover will be back. While there are no clear answers, we can only wait for reliable press renders of the device to appear. Anyway, more information about the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra should be revealed soon.
