Samsung is working on its own tracking device called Galaxy Smart Tag

Samsung announced the launch of SmartThings Find in October 2020. The service was designed to make it easier for users to find Galaxy devices, such as smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and even earbuds. Recently, a new device carrying the model number EI-T5300 has earned Indonesian Telecom Certification. It looks like the company is now developing its own Tile-like object tracker called Galaxy Smart Tag. Samsung already has experience in producing such devices. In 2018, the company released an LTE-enabled SmartThings Tracker. Typically, object trackers use Bluetooth technology to locate objects, but Samsung could also provide its upcoming tracker with additional connectivity features such as UWB (ultra-wideband), LTE, and GPS. It would be logical for Samsung to integrate the SmartThings Find feature into its new object tracker.

Tile is one of the most popular tracking devices. And there are rumors that even Apple is working on a similar device. Feel free to share in the comments below if you would like to buy a tracking device from Samsung or not.
