Samsung is working on two new high-quality Exynos chipsets right now

According to rumors, Samsung will soon unveil the Exynos 2100 chipset. The new chipset is expected to be free of the performance and power efficiency issues that the Exynos 990 had. In addition to the Exynos 2100, which has the internal model number Exynos 9840, Samsung, according to Ice Universe, is working on two more Exynos processors right now, namely the Exynos 9855 and the Exynos 9925.

While the Exynos 2100 is expected to be part of the Galaxy S21, the Exynos 9855 could become part of the Galaxy S22 in 2022. As for the Exynos 9925, it is expected to be introduced only in 2023. It is known that it will have AMD's Radeon graphics. And although there were earlier rumors that the Exynos chipset with AMD graphics could be released in 2021, in the absence of an official announcement from Samsung, this is just speculation.

Not so long ago, Samsung also introduced the Exynos 1080 with 5nm process, Cortex-A78 CPU cores, Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and ARM Mali-G78 GPU. It is expected to be a mid-range chipset, and a smartphone from Vivo could be the first device to use it.

After the disappointment caused by the poor performance of the Exynos 990, many do not believe that Samsung will be able to release an Exynos chipset that can outperform its Snapdragon counterpart. However, the latest news arouses hope that the company is doing its best to make sure the upcoming chipsets perform well.
