Samsung announces a new 2021 lineup of high-resolution monitors

Samsung has unveiled its 2021 lineup of high-resolution borderless monitors, which consists of three series - the S8, S7, and S6. All monitors display over 1 billion colors, have a 178-degree wide viewing angle, and support HDR10. The lineup is being marketed as perfect for work from home due to the combination of life-like picture quality and advanced ergonomic design.

The monitors feature Adaptive Picture eye care technology, which automatically adjusts brightness and color temperature according to room conditions. The lineup also boasts Eco Saving Plus technology, which automatically adjusts the brightness of black areas and thus reduces up to 10% of power consumption. The monitors also feature a special eye-saver mode, which reduces blue light emission, and Flicker-Free technology, which eliminates screen flickering.

The flagship S8 series is available in three flat-panel models: the 32-inch S80A, the 27-inch S80A, and the 27-inch S80UA. It offers UHD resolution, a 99% sRGB color gamut, a USB Type-C port with up to 90W charging(the S80UA), and a USB 3.0 hub.

The S7 series comes in 27-inch(the S70A) and 32-inch (the S70A) sizes. It also offers UHD resolution and a 99% sRGB color gamut. While the S8 and the S6 monitors boast VESA mount compatibility and multiple HAS, tilt, swivel, and pivot control points, the S7 series offers only an ultra-slim tilt stand.

The S6 series offers seven monitors: the 34-inch S65UA, the 32-inch S60UA, the 27-inch S60UA, the 24-inch S60UA, the 32-inch S60A, the 27-inch S60A, and the 24-inch S60A.
