Samsung starts rolling out the March 2021 security patch to the Galaxy Z Fold 2

Samsung started rolling out the March security patch in late February 2021. The Galaxy Note 10 series was the first to receive the update. Many Samsung smartphones and tablets have already received the update, and now the time has come for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 as well. The latest software update has firmware version F9160ZCS1DUC1. In addition to Google's bug fixes, the patch brings fixes for 19 vulnerabilities in Samsung smartphones.

The rollout began in China, and now it's reaching other countries. If you haven't received an update notification yet, you can check for it in the Settings menu. Go to the "Software Update" section and select "Download and Install".

Released in August 2020, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 originally came with Android 10 (One UI 2). In January 2021, the smartphone got access to the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update, and in February, it was updated to One UI 3.1
