At the beginning of 2021, Samsung presented the Neo QLED TV line under the concept of a sustainable and accessible future. Neo QLED is a completely new technology based on a new light source, Quantum Mini LED. Neo QLED TVs offer probably the highest picture quality in the industry due to enhanced black levels and contrast ratio. A couple of days ago, Samsung announced an online seminar on the new technology and its advantages.
The tenth annual tech seminar will be held from March 31 to May 18. It will focus on the three building blocks of Neo QLED TVs, namely Quantum Mini LED technology, Quantum Matrix Technology, and Neo Quantum Processor. The Quantum Mini LED technology uses incredibly thin microlayers filled with a large number of LEDs, which are 1/40 the size of a conventional LED. The Neo Quantum Matrix Technology enables ultra-fine brightness adjustment up to 12-bit (4096 steps), which provides an excellent contrast ratio and eliminates blooming. The Neo Quantum Processor uses AI upscaling technology to deliver an ultra-high-resolution picture. Within the framework of the seminar, Samsung will also touch upon the issue of Tizen-based software.
The tech seminar will be held sequentially in all regions of the world, including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Southwest Asia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Various media representatives and industry experts will attend the event. Some prestigious media outlets, such as "Forbes" and the German magazine "Video," have already left positive comments about Samsung's Neo QLED TVs. Samsung has been a global leader in the TV industry for 15 years, and the company is not going to give up its position.
