Samsung recently started rolling out a new update for its Bixby virtual assistant. Initially, the update was not available to all users, but more and more people are getting the latest version of the virtual assistant. And now the company has officially revealed all the improvements made with this update.
The update focuses on optimizing the user experience. The biggest changes have been made to the Bixby Home user interface. It has been completely redesigned, from the color scheme to Bixby Capsules' position. The update removed the two main categories, Home and All Capsules, and introduced a single home screen. Bixby Voice has also been greatly improved. Now, when using Bixby Voice, the assistant will take up only a small part of the screen.
In addition to the improvements in the user interface, Samsung is also working on expanding the functionality of the Bixby assistant. The company released an update last month that advanced the integration between smartphones and smart TVs. Bixby can now be used with DeX as well, allowing Samsung DeX users to give voice commands to control different aspects of the user interface.
Have you tried the new version of Bixby assistant yet? What do you think of the latest improvements? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.
