Until recently, there was no information about the launch date of Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta, but rumors are spreading fast, and now it's rumored that Samsung will release One UI 4.0 beta in September in South Korea, with the Galaxy S21 series being first in line. Most likely, the rest of the world will receive the update in October. The Galaxy S20 series is also expected to get the software in October.
So far, little is known about One UI 4.0. Since Samsung smartphones already have most of the Android 12 features, all that One UI 4.0 has to offer is cosmetic improvements.
Google usually starts the rollout for Pixels in early September. Most likely, beta tests will last until the end of fall, and the full-fledged launch of Android 12 will take place in December. Given Samsung's incredible progress in quick update rollouts to its high-end devices, we have every reason to expect the release of Android 12-based One UI 4.0 in late November.
