Galaxy Note 9 owners are finally getting the One UI 2.5 update. The update has firmware version N960FXXU6FTJ3. Germany is one of the first countries to receive the latest stable version of One UI along with several new features, including support for wireless DeX, with which you can now use DeX on any TV that supports screen mirroring. The update brings new features to apps such as Samsung Keyboard, Camera, and Messages. The Samsung Keyboard app gets a YouTube search function and the option to use the split keyboard in landscape mode. With the improved Single Take mode, you can now choose the recording duration, as well as the video recording resolution and frame rate (24, 30, and 60 frames per second) in Pro video mode. You can also now send emergency messages every 30 minutes for 24 hours.
One UI 2.5 is the latest major update for the Galaxy Note 9. Samsung's new three-generations of Android upgrades policy does not apply to this smartphone. At the same time, security updates will still be released monthly for at least another year and then every three months.
One UI 2.5 will be available in your country within a few days. To check for updates on your phone, go to «Settings» and select «Software Update».
