Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 FE at the Galaxy Unpacked virtual event on September 23. The company has now announced that the smartphone will become available for purchase in South Korea next week. The price of the new smartphone in the domestic market is KRW 899,800 (about $770). The Galaxy S20 FE is available in five colors: Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Red, and Cloud White. The device can be bought from Samsung's online store, Samsung Digital Plaza, Coupang, and all the mobile operators in South Korea.
The Galaxy S20 FE will be available for pre-order in South Korea from October 6-13. Samsung will start shipping pre-ordered devices to customers starting October 13. The Galaxy S20 FE will hit store shelves starting October 16. The smartphone will become available in South Korea later than worldwide because of the delay in launch due to the Chuseok harvest festival.
Those who pre-order the Galaxy S20 FE can get some nice bonuses. These bonuses include the Galaxy Fit 2, UV Sterilizer with wireless charging, a game controller with a 3-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, or a customized skin. Also, using the Samsung Members app, they can get a monthly Libre subscription, a four-month YouTube Premium subscription, or a free in-game gift in Forza Street. Moreover, Samsung is offering double the refund of used smartphones in exchange for the Galaxy S20 FE. The offer will be available until October 31.
