T-Mobile launches a new software update for the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G. The new software update has firmware version N976USQU3BTI5 and is about 395MB in size. The update enables support for a standalone 5G network. This means that the quality of 5G will be higher and its signal on the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G will be stronger. Along with the new update, users will get the August 2020 security patch, a new disclaimer for location services, and additional improvements to the security and stability of the smartphone.
In the US, T-Mobile's standalone 5G network was launched last month. The users of the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G could use T-Mobile's 600 MHz 5G, but access was still largely dependent on mid-band LTE signals. With the new update, the smartphone will have access to standalone 5G, which will allow users to access the network with lower latency and higher signal strength indoors.
