New update brings improved GPS accuracy to Galaxy Watch Active 2

Samsung regularly improves the Galaxy Watch Active 2 with software updates. Since its release, the watch has received several software updates along with new features, such as Running Analysis, Fall Detection, VO2 measurement, smart reply, new emojis and images, scrolling screenshots, and chat history. Now Samsung has released a new update for the Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE that brings improved GPS accuracy and some other new features.

The update carries firmware version R825USQU1BTJ6 and is 45.42 MB in size. According to the official changelog, the update includes improved GPS accuracy and connection, voice guidance via a headset connected to a smartphone while exercising, as well as voice guidance for distance traveled and heart rate with the Auto Lap feature enabled while cycling or running.

The software update for the Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE is available in the US. Users of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 in South Korea got access to some of these features last month.
