Most high-end Samsung phones have already received the One UI 3.0 update. Samsung released the One UI 3.0 beta update to registered users of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in South Korea two months ago. Today, the stable One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 finally became available. Germany was the first country to receive the update, but no doubt it will soon be available in other countries.
The new update has firmware version F916BXXU1CTLL and includes the January 2021 security patch. Along with Android 11, it brings many new features, such as one-time permissions, notification bubbles, a chat section in the notification shade, a media playback widget, a visually enhanced user interface, and revamped stock apps.
Users of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Germany should have already received an update notification. You can also check for the update in the "Settings" menu. Find the "Software Update" section and tap "Download and Install".
