Verizon's Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+, and Galaxy Note 10+ 5G finally receive the November 2020 security update

The Galaxy Note 10 series began receiving the November 2020 security patch earlier this month. Now it is the turn of operator versions of phones. Verizon's Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10+, and Galaxy Note 10+ 5G are receiving new updates with the November 2020 security patch. The updates have firmware versions N970USQS5DTJ8, N975USQS5DTJ8, and N976VVRS5DTJ8 for the Galaxy Note 10, the Galaxy Note 10+, and the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, respectively. The patch addresses five critical vulnerabilities in the Android OS, as well as 29 high-level threats and 31 moderate threats. It also addresses five Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs).

The official changelog lists only the security improvements. However, it may also carry some bug fixes. Those who have not yet received the latest update for the Galaxy Note 10, the Galaxy Note 10+, and the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G on the Verizon US network can check it in the Settings menu. Just select "Software update" on your phone and then click "Download and Install".
