According to many rumors, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be rather pricey, despite the fact that it delivers very little in the way of improvements over the Galaxy S21 Ultra. That shouldn't deter most fans from purchasing one, though. However, it is possible that one may have to wait a little too long to get their hands on the smartphone.
Samsung anticipates selling more Galaxy S22 Ultra units than it can produce. According to Twitter user @dohyun854, waiting for a Galaxy S22 Ultra could take up to three months. Samsung's premise, according to the leaker, is a little too optimistic. The company believes that the Galaxy S22 Ultra would sell like hotcakes and that it will be unable to meet demand, resulting in the three-month delay.
It remains to be seen whether Samsung's prediction comes true. That wouldn't necessarily be a negative thing for end consumers, since it would encourage them to buy the standard Galaxy S22 or Galaxy S22+ and save money. While there are major hardware variations between the Ultra and non-Ultra models, the latter still provides the classic Samsung flagship experience. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra shares this fate, but Samsung didn’t have the resources to produce numerous of them, so getting one will be difficult, regardless of demand.
